Skin Health First
Mole Mapping & Screening
A nurse-led mole and skin lesion screening service designed to save you time and give you peace of mind.
What is Skin Health First?
Skin Health First is a professional, nurse-led mole screening service designed to make skin cancer detection more accessible, timely, and affordable. It bridges the gap between long NHS waits and costly private dermatology services by offering expert mole checks with the option of consultant dermatologist input, all in a welcoming clinical setting.
This is not a rushed visual once-over. It is a structured screening appointment carried out by an experienced medical professional trained to recognise early signs of skin cancer and other skin lesions, giving you peace of mind and guidance on what to do next.
Who is it for?
Skin Health First is suitable for:
- Anyone with moles or pigmented lesions they are worried about
- People with a high number of moles or a personal/family history of skin cancer
- Those seeking annual or routine mole checks as part of their health maintenance
- Individuals who have noticed new, changing, or unusual skin lesions
How does it work?
Your appointment will include:
- A consultation to discuss your skin concerns, history, and any specific lesions
- A detailed full-body skin check (where appropriate)
- Mapping and labelling of moles using a visual documentation system
- Dermoscopy images taken of any suspicious or clinically significant lesions
- The option to send images to a consultant dermatologist via a trusted service for expert review
- Education on how to monitor your skin at home
- Follow-up advice and referral pathways if needed
If any non-suspicious skin lesions are suitable for removal (such as skin tags or seborrhoeic keratoses), CryoPen treatment may be available at a discounted rate following your screening.
